Beyond MST App Overview
Beyond MST is a free, secure, trauma-sensitive mobile app designed to support survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). It offers over 30 specialized tools to help users cope with challenges, manage symptoms, and improve their quality of life. Whether used independently or alongside formal treatment, it provides brief assessments, self-care goal setting, and progress tracking. The app prioritizes user privacy by not requiring an account and keeping personal information confidential.
Created by the US Department of Veterans Affairs VA Mobile Mental Health team in collaboration with the National Center for PTSD, Women’s Health Sciences Division, and the national VA MST Support Team, Beyond MST aims to assist survivors of unwanted sexual experiences, providing a companion for healing and hope.
